[WP] Gold is boring. Being a hipster dragon yourself, you decide you want these freshly minted "cryptocurrencies" in your hoard. The problem is you have no idea where the humans keep them.

Moons have turned /r/Cryptocurrency into a yield farming platform. Mods need to ban karma farmers and enforce a higher posting standards.

Now with karma farming on this subreddit having monetary gain, people have started exploiting this sub to make money and it's only going to get worse. Create multiple accounts, post on reddit with all these accounts and just upvote all your accounts.
In order to counteract this, mods need to ban users who post low effort comments and posts. Or better yet, change how moons are distributed so it doesnt incentivize spamming and exploitation.

Is there already an alt cryptocurrency with real and working use case?

I stopped following alts for some time. I remember many promises how this and that coin will be used for an astonishing function but nothing was ever fully working.
One example is Stellar. They were saying you can basically use it to exchange fiat currency across the globe. Yet im not aware of any service allowing it. Let’s say I will send usd to someone to Japan and he/she gets yen.
So is there now at least one coin fully working for the use case the authors promised?
Let’s not count alts which serve just for cryptokitties and other useless things but focus on stuff which really helps people in real world
